• Christmas Party
  The children in Reception had a lovely party afternoon on the last day of term.
• Step Back in Time Competition
  The children were encouraged to take part in a competition, where they had to draw themselves as a character from history, travelling to school in an active and environmentally friendly way.
• Panto
  We had a performance in school of "Jack and the Beanstalk" by a theatre company. The children watched for 90 minutes and enjoyed every minute.
• Tales Toolkit Competition Winners
  We are thrilled to announce that our Early Years children have just won first prize in a story making competition.
• RC Nativity Show
  Class RC performed in their Christmas Nativity concert.
• The Dental Health Team visits Reception
  Deborah from the Dental Health Team came to talk to us about regular tooth brushing and making healthy food and drink choices.
• Christmas Story Making
  We have been using some seasonal props in our Tales Toolkit big bags.
• Writing Stories
  In Reception, we have introduced the Tales Toolkit writing resources which run alongside the big bags we use for storytelling.
• Acting out The Smartest Giant in Town
  The children in Reception have taken on the roles of the characters in the story.
• Secret Reader - Mrs Charlton
  Our Early Years children had a super surprise when Mrs Charlton came to read to our class!
