    El Dia de los Muertos

2 November 2020 (by Amy Henderson (AHenderson))

We have really enjoyed learning about Day of the Dead, a fascinating holiday from Mexico and other countries.

We have been so excited to learn more about Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, today in class RS. It is an ancient tradition celebrated in many other countries, including Mexico, which celebrates life and death. Today, November 2nd is the final day of these celebrations so we took the time to find out more, create our own alter with cutout bunting or papel picado, and created colourful skull mask designs.
